What BUILD SHOP is

BUILD SHOP lets you run pre-order drops, reached by private code, from a shop of your own at an address on buildshop.cc. By requesting a shop or using one, you agree to these terms.

Shops are approved by hand

Every shop is approved by hand, and we may refuse a request or close a shop. Nothing goes live automatically, and being approved is not a promise that we will always keep a shop running.

Your data is yours

Your shop, your products, your customers and your orders belong to you. You can export all of it as CSV at any time, free, whatever plan you are on and whether or not you are paying for anything. We do not sell it, and we hold it only to run your shop.

What we ask of you

Do not sell anything unlawful, or use a shop to deceive or harm anyone.
You are responsible for what you sell, for fulfilling your orders, and for how you treat your customers.
Keep your password to yourself. What happens under your sign-in is your responsibility.

Payments between you and your customers

Today, a sale is between you and your customer. BUILD SHOP records what is owed and what has been paid. We are not a party to the sale, and online card payment for customers is not built yet.

What it costs

Each shop has a one-time fee: $25.00 for your first shop and $15.00 for each extra shop, with no monthly fee. Pro is optional and costs $29.00 a month on top; it is switched on by request while online payment opens. If Pro ever lapses, nothing is deleted.

As is

BUILD SHOP is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and to keep your data safe, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted or that it will suit every purpose.

Changes

We may change these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the date above. If you keep using BUILD SHOP after a change, you accept it.
